Rating: 4.5/5

Because as a critic, I feel that giving 5/5 is a bit too much.

First, the storyline. The storyline is a magnificient masterpiece created and molded from the various comic books. It goes on for more than two hours but it has captured the imagination and the curiousity of the audience. It does not drag, but makes the audience hunger for more.

The storyline captures the greyness of humans and this world. It is very deep compared to its first movie. It shows how the characters grow throughout the movie through realisation and corruption. Like how Batman storylines goes, it has a mystery and a plan which is complex yet creates a satisfied feeling when everything is revealed. Also, the script was beautifully written with strong lines and dark humour.

The characters, as mentioned earlier, grow throughout the movie. They all did extremely well in showing the true nature. Christian Bale, Heath Ledger and Aaron Eckhart played their characters well as though they were part of the movie itself.

The only thing I’m sadden (this is totally irrelevent) is the fact that Alfred looks nothing like the one in the comic.

The action and mystery of the movie will brilliant. There were so many cool action scenes and CGI. The camera angles played an important part in bringing us one step closer in being in the movie. The mystery was intriguing. It was thrilling and dark. It was “all part of the plan”.

It is probably one of the MUST WATCH movie of the year.
